How to Succeed...is a Success!

Last week Camp Broadway had the amazing pleasure of attending a performance of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (http://www.howtosucceedbroadway.com) starring Daniel Radcliffe, most notably of Harry Potter fame.

Radcliffe charms the audience from the get go as J. Pierrepont Finch, a window washer who makes his way to the top of the World Wide Wicket corporation with the help of his trusty “How To” book as well as some luck and help from his fellow co-workers. John Larroquette plays the company CEO J.B. Biggley who immediately takes a liking to “Ponty” which begins to make him the envy of the other guys in the office, but also makes him admirable to the ladies. Rose Hemmingway makes her Broadway debut as ‘Rosemary,” Ponty’s love interest.

How to Succeed...” has now been revived on Broadway three times and is a Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning musical. This production, the 50th annual, is directed and choreographed by Tony and Emmy award winner Rob Ashford. The costumes and sets are colorful, fun, and bright. Frank Loessor provides music that will be in your head for days! There were lots of kids in the audience with big smiles on their faces, and they really seemed to benjoy themselves.

Head on over to the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on 45th and 8th to get your tickets and you will surely feel successful from the start!
