Camp Broadway is teaming up with The Addams Family and Baby Its You! on Broadway to bring theatre to schoolchildren!
Along with Karen Mack, a nationally recognized specialist in curriculum design and technology integration, Camp Broadway has created “The Addams Family: No Snap Judgments.” The program, which is available to teachers anywhere in American for free online, brings together aspects of the Broadway show with a series of project based lesson plans that address all areas of schooling such as Language Arts, English, Social Studies, Science, and Behavior and Life Skills. It features National Common Core Learning Standards.
The producers of Baby Its You! and Camp Broadway have created an exciting educational program for grades 9th to 12th. Along with using the National Common Core learning Standards with project based learning activities as with The Addams Family Program, Baby Its You! will also feature in-school residences with trained teaching artists and ticket package information with pre show workshop opportunities!

2011 Tony Awards!
Attend the 2011 Tony Awards with Camp Broadway!
This year we have tickets available for Campers 18 and under! Head on over to our website , go to the Enroll Now section and sign up to attend with us on June 12, 2011!
The $450 ticket will include a ticket to the show and a fancy pre theatre dinner, our Camp Broadway Tradition!
This year the event is being hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and held at the Beacon Theatre on the Upper West Side of Manhattan! More details can be found at http://www.tonyawards.com

Gershwin Awards!
This Saturday Camp Broadway, along with CAP 21 and the Broadway Educational Alliance, is thrilled to sponsor the Gershwin Awards!
The Alliance has formed a NYC Chapter of the NHSMTA (National Musical Theatre Awards) which is an annual event to celebrate achievement in musical theatre, specifically for high school kids from public and private schools in the NY Metro Area!
This exciting experience will take place at CAP 21 and we will be tweeting, blogging, and Facebooking about the event all week so keep checking in. For now, check out http://www.gershwinawards.com
